Republic Labs researches and curates the latest AI SaaS tools on the web. The directory is open and free to browse, and our “Best of” pages are editorial rankings that we maintain by hand.

Methodology

• We index tools from their official websites. Descriptions come from the tool’s own pages, and we say where they came from.
• We don’t publish invented statistics, star ratings, user counts or review scores.
• Editorial ranks reflect what a tool does, who it’s for, and how clearly it delivers on its own stated purpose. Editors can re-rank at any time.
• Every ranking change is logged internally.

Editorial independence and paid listings

Anyone can pay $50/year to list a tool. A paid listing gets a detail page, inclusion in search, and a spot in its category’s “Submitted tools” section. It does not buy a rank, a featured slot, or a place on a “Best of” list. Paid listings are labeled “Submitted” and their outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow". An editor may move a submitted tool into the editorial ranking on merit; that change is logged.

Owners can also buy sponsored placement: a box labeled “Sponsored” above a category’s ranking, with a disclosure and sponsored/nofollow links. It is advertising, not a rank: sponsored tools never get a number and never move editorially ranked tools. See the terms.
